I am pretty sure you can search for something on YouTube like ‘tips for crocheting a magic ring’.

I have a video it’s kind of hard but it makes it so that there is no hole in the middle I’ll try to find it later

are you pulling them tight? if i use fluffy yarn like big twist then usually they have holes bc the yarn will always break if i try to pull them tight, but woobles yarn you can pull and there’ll be no hole

The ch2 method is a good alternative. Or I like to use the tail to sew a stitch or two into/around the magic ring, and tie off to hold it in place! Over time the ring may loosen, esp if your piece is stuffed tightly; so its a nice assurance that it wont open up.

I totally forgot to look for the video sorry :sob: this isn’t the one I wanted but it was removed so I can’t find it… basically it’s a double magic ring and then you have to pull on one of the middle loops then the tail and it closes it (this doesn’t work with plush yarn) in the video they don’t pull it all the way but it gets tighter and doesn’t come out. https://pin.it/5Mb67j4co
