Heyy welcome to the wonderful world of crocheting. Let me get you some good beginnner patterns.

[Patterns will be here when/if I find good ones, I have a few in mind tho]

Here are Rae’s 5 takeaways from 1 year of crocheting

1):clap:t2:Count :clap:t2:your :clap:t2: stitches :clap:t2:. I was that one person who was like, “I dont need to count them.” I can now say, ‘yes you do, hon.’

  1. Start with acrylic, use light colored acrylic yarn, not the fluffy stuff so you are able to see the parts of the stitch. (Also personally, I feel like acrylic is cleaner as well)

3)Don’t start with stuff like plushies that are worked in the round, it is better to start with your basic SC, HDC, DC, SLST. Then work up to dec and Inc.

  1. use a bigger hook. Not only does this help with being able to see your stitches, it helps with tension too!

5)dont be afraid to redo a part of it. Its easier to redo part of it when you are closer to the mistake than ignoring and ending up with too many stitches.

Hii welcome!! Here are some of my biggest tips:
I would start with acrylic yarn! It is much easier to work with than fluffy yarn. :yarn:
Use a bigger hook and watch LOTS of YouTube videos for beginner crocheters! :growing_heart:
I would start with making squares or something very simple. Don’t start right away with making plushies worked in the round. Eventually once u expand your skills u can start making plushies and more complicated patterns!!
Good luck!!

try the woobles, I know everybody said not to but I learned all of the basic stitches really well from them

What are the Wooble

i suggest woobles to because it includes all the materials plus some extra and step by step video tutorials and you end up with a really cute plushy and a free pattern
