How do i get testers to finish

Hi

Ive never made a post before that isnt a tester call so i hope this is ok.

Im really struggling to have my testers finish patterns and im not sure why

I think ive had long enough due dates as there normally small projects and i give twelve days, but normally only one or two people finish

No one messages me to ask for a for a extension even though i message them saying i can give them one. They just never reply

If you are testing one of my patterns now or have done in the past i hope i havnt done any thing wrong i just need some advice and i dont want to sound mean.

Most of the testers are pretty good about finishing/asking for extensions, but in your case I’d remind them one more time and then remove them from testing. And possibly block them from testing your patterns again. Hope this helps :)

Hi! Sorry I wasn’t able to finish the bat pattern :sob::sob::sob: the next time you post a call, I’m for sure apply and finish!!! I’m so sorry your not having good luck with testers. What I recommend is accepting more testers than you need, so you have backups.

Thank you you dont need to worry its more people who dont respond to anything you know. Im haveing two patterns tested at the moment one was ment to be done yesterday i had 4 testers and two aren’t replying to anything, and one is ment to be out in two days i had 10 testers and they yave had ten of the twelve day and only two have finished and been messing me.

I just dont understand if your no longer able to test its fine just tell me and we’ll be able to work something out

Yeah, as a fellow designer ik that’s soooo frustrating. There’s just not much you can do about it :pensive: it helps to see if the testers you choose are normally active, so you’d know if they’re more communicative

I have had the same issue. I was recently told by one of my testers that the due date was pretty far out (Nov 30) so ppl probably haven’t started yet. :roll_eyes:

When I test patterns I always start working on it as soon as I can, so I dont understand why they wait so long and why a lot do not finish…

The advice I have been given is to bug them and remind them especially as the due date is coming up… and block them if they ghost the test or abort. We just have to filter out the bad testers ig :confused:
