I’m relatively new here, just started poking around this month. Can someone explain this like I’m 5?:
What are journals good for? I don’t see the benefits (except to post makes for sale)
If the pattern tracks my progress, what use is a journal?

You can add pictures and notes, and it can show suggestions to designer (most likely if you’re testing a pattern). If you’re thinking buying/getting a pattern then journals also help give reviews, also helps give reviews to the designer to keep in mind.

To add to Nicole’s comments, you can also add into the notes your yarn and hook choice if you want… Which could help you later

Oh duh! I’m always like “I’ll definitely remember the hook I was using” and then 100% forget
