You can’t really block anyone but you can mute or ignore them…once you press on there profile, press that normal button and there are a few options for that, here is a photo

No, it does not notify them. I have been “blocked” (muted, ignored) multiple times and have not gotten a notification.

Because I’ve been directly told I’m going to be blocked One of them was a 50+ year old who had a long history of bullying teens on here.
