I do my yarning over with the same hand I use to hold my hook so when I yarn over, I hope the tip of the hook with my other thumb, which usually also holds my project

I just started crocheting and I hold it the same as I hold my knitting needle, knife style. I tried the pencil hold but it felt so awkward. :blush:
