How does collabs work?

I’m seeing people doing “collabs” but how does it work? Do you write the pattern together? Do you brainstorm and one people writes the pattern? Is it just help with the marketing? I really don’t have any ideas, please help

You might get a different definition from each person but to me, a collab is when a few people choose a category and make something out of that category.
For example: the category is dessert/animals. So you could make a donut snail.

I think all of those things count as collabs. Collaboration is just when people work together on a project or event. So there is a lot that fits in there

ribblr collabs are like when one person hosts something of some topic and others can join and make patterns out of that topic. Every collab usually has a due date to what I know.
