Hi I have my first in person market tomorrow , and I was just wondering how do you guys deal with people who try barter/ negotiate down the price?
Honestly I haven’t had to deal with this yet… but I think if it was one of my larger price items and the person was off a couple bucks I’d be ok with that. But if it like a $5 item, id stand firm. I’d also stand pretty firm with with what you feel like you should sell it at. Now I also have let a person have an item for a lower price, because it was an old crochet project ( not great quality, needs a home, or just not selling).
I hope this helps… I don’t feel like I’ve said anything remotely helpful![]()
*many people think crochet and knitting is too over priced becuase they don’t know how long it takes, but always be kind about taking criticism (it’s your decision if you actually take it:)

i resell stuff, and standing firm is really the only thing you can do.
Ah ok thank you
Thank you
I haven’t found that to be a problem, and I’ve done about 7 markets now, with 2 of those being 2 day markets
If they are a non-crocheter they just might not understand how long it takes to make something of thag quality, I think you should keep your prices and if they just don’t understand how much work it takes to make it they can just not buy. I honestly stand firm unless its and old project that wasn’t the best anyways.
