how to identify the type of wire

Hi everyone, I would like to know how I can identify the type of yarn I use (weight), where I live it’s a little different to identify, normally it’s just by the brand

Try to find chart on internet with charm weight and “wraps per inch”

Yes, getting a measuring stick and wrapping the yarn around it is how I do it for all the thrifted yarns I have :blush: It works quite well!
