Okay so a question. I’m wanting to make my own pattern but I don’t know how to because if I’m crocheting how do I write down? If you have any tips, please reply. Thank you
Could you further explain what you are asking?
I’m not sure if this is what your asking but- usually after I finishing crocheting a round I write down what I did for that round and continue like that until I have finished making and writing down all of my pattern. I usually write it down on a sheet of paper or type it into my Notes app. You could also do the same thing but instead you type it straight into Ribbuild (the Ribblr platform for writing patterns for your shop). To open a shop on Ribblr, click this link and then on your shop page, scroll down and click the purple “new pattern” button to be able to write a new pattern on Ribblr!
I’ve never found an easier way myself. I just do a row / round or two and then enter them into ribbuild here. And repeat. I have thought of recording it.
I’m trying to create a pattern. But I don’t know how to when I am crocheting and I need to write it down. I don’t have a great memory. I need tips to make it just a bit easier.
Thanks
I had a mini stroke years ago. I struggle with remembering numbers now so I must right them down as I go. My photo app takes a picture if I say “smile” or “cheese”. I do that a lot. But I just saw that I could have it start a video also. I might try that. But not sure how to stop it. haha. That way I could watch it back to write it down. Might be worth a try though.
Sure I’ll see if that works tysm!
Also I’m sorry to hear that
I usually crochet one line and then write it down in a notes app. That way I don’t forget what I’ve done. You have to stop crocheting for a moment, but I find it easier than trying to remember multiple rows.
You could also potentially do a voice recording and say what you’re doing as you crochet, then transcribe it later.
