Ive lost a ball of wool with a hook from my grandad in it.
Im stressed to an unthinkable level over a little pinky red ball of wool with a purple 5mm hook in it.
I lost it between getting out of school and getting home which is a good 45min gap.
I CRIED OVER THIS GODDAM BALL OF WOOL AND ISTG I FEEL SO STUPID FOR IT NOW
But it had a project i was in the middle of doing FOR AN ORDER on it and now i just feel like a disappointment

Were you on a bus during that 45 minute gap ? Maybe you could call the school and see if someone found it at school or on the bus and will hold on to it for you ???

Im so sorry, I know to somebody that does crochet they might not get it, but its special when someone gifts you something and when your also in the middle of a project to lose it. I hope you find the ball with the hook in it.

I’m so very sorry! You’ve walked the route again? Do you remember having it AFTER the bus? If not, maybe you could call the bus company and see if anyone found it. Some people are honest enough to turn things like that in.
I’ve lost precious little memories given to me by my great grandmas and my great-great aunt Grace. It hurts so much. Then I come to realize that they were gifts of their creativity, and I was very appreciative. They all knew how much I loved their gifts to me. They all lived to their centuries. I sure don’t want to live that long! Not in our world today.

But there was no hook
Its mangled and tangled and veryvery muddy but IT SURVIVED!!

I was alr at home when i realised so i couldnt look anywhere, i knew i lost it somehwere outside and my school is quite far away from my house
