Im following this video tutorial (its how tk make a flower coaster) & idk why mine it coming out like this & idk what im doing wrong .
could you attach a link to the video?
Usually that rippling happens when there are too many stitches. It looks like you did two rounds of increases in every stitch, normally to make a circle you would only crochet the 2nd round with all increases e.g.
R1. 6 sc in magic ring. (6)
R2. (Inc) x6. (12)
R3. (Sc, inc) x6. (18)
I hope this helps
Thats what the video i was following said to do
To clarify, are you saying you crocheted rnd 3 as (sc, inc) x6 or that the video said to increase in every stitch for rnd 2 and 3?
The video has written it a bit wordier than I would have put it. Checking if you have the same stitch count as their total should also help.
i think i messd up on round 3 maybe so im assuming they meant 1 sc in each stitch but idk
The R3 instructions say *Sc, 2 sc in the same st, *rep <18 sts total>. This is the same as writing (Sc, inc) ×6. which will equal the total of 18 sts.
So for rnd 3, I think they mean sc in one st then increase in the next st and repeat that around for a total of 18 sts.
That would make more sense thanks
Glad I could help
