If you make amigurumi, i chop it up finely and mix it with polyfil :)

Yeah, these work well for stuffing!

I agree also with using it as stuffing, one of the Youtube content creators that I watch suggested putting it toward the middle of the poly fil so it doesnt poke through the stitches, but she mentioned it also helps weight the amigurumi so if you put it in feet it would weight them down a little more.

You can use the longer pieces for tapestries, or for sewing projects

I tied the longer pieces together to make a scrap bunny. But if it’s shorter pieces, I use it for stuffing

I use my scraps for filling, creating a lining of your project with Poly Fil, then fill it with scraps till it’s stuffed, then top it off with the poly fil. Check out my YouTube Channel @LetsGetHooked2024 I have a short showing it.

You could make some sort of scrappy blanket if its not too short? Like a star blanket or smth?
You could also make a beanbag, and make it openable so you can put all the scraps inside (if you ever need them (https://www.reddit.com/r/crochet/comments/1633vqp/3strands_single_crochet_storage_floor_pouf/)

This may takes a lot of times, but there are yt tutorials on how to take old yarn and rewind it into new yarn so that would be pretty cool too

I’m getting to the point where I’m just going to throw away the oldest of my yarn scraps:weary:. Otherwise I use some of the recent ones for various purposes like stuffing or in a scrap yarn project.
