I’m having trouble getting testers.

It’s been hours since I posted my latest tester call. However, the post isn’t getting many views as my previous ones, and so far only 1 crocheter has applied. What’s going on?

Could be the time zones. I just got up myself.

I agree, it may be the timezone. It’s about the time for NA to get up so maybe many were snoozing apart of the early EU and AU members

No…I don’t think that’s it. It could be the algorithm. Because I normally post tester calls at this time of day, and I get more testers than this.

when was the last time you posted one? could it be because of school?

or the finishing requirement. it looks like it’s due in 2 days

The way you worded the post, it made it seem like the due date was September 9th instead of September 16th, the actual due date. I’d recommend changing it to something like “testers will be selected on September 9th” so it’s more clear. If people were reading it quickly they might have not applied because they couldn’t finish it in 2 days, even though that isn’t what you were asking.
Hope this helps!

OK, I’ll change it and see how it works. Thanks for letting me know.

Oh, here we go, I’m starting to get more testers! Uh…did I overreact?

I don’t think they use an algorithm (at least not like social media does). The topics are just organized by whatever is newest / has the most recent activity (hot and top are arranged by overall amount of interaction though, I think).
