I’m moving! <3

Just found out we got approved to move into a beautiful townhome (rented sadly)

AND we can start moving in February 8th!

So I might be a bit more offline and will have to put a pause on any more testing (besides what I’m already on) until I move ! :) unless I have time! (We have 2 months to move but imma try and rush so I can get out of the crap hole)

I still plan to release patterns but they may come a bit more scarce! Or I might wait to drop my patterns until after the move! I’m not sure yet! :) but I’m excited for this next step in my family’s life! :) will post photos of my new yarn set up once I move them! :) can finally get them all organized and in shelf’s then!

I hate moving so much that we haven’t moved since 1998 and that was from the apartment across the hall to our current one (5 feet apart LOL) so good luck with your move. I’d personally rather go to the dentist a million times in a month rather than move again. Despite how small our studio apartment is

We did change storage lockers about a year ago and that was a pain in the butt. Sold off a bunch of my books to Half Price Books in the city just north of our county line just to downsize what boxes we had to put into the new one.

I have moved every year for the past 5 years. One thing after another. We tried to get a mortgage but unfortunately we gotta fix my hubby’s credit before they will let us so fingers crossed this is the last year of renting :)

I will never be able to own real property. My credit card debt load is too high and my wages are not high enough.

And I live in one of the most expensive places (San Francisco Bay Area) where housing and even renting are extremely expensive. Our rent here is pretty cheap as we are under rent control (our building was built in 1910, right after the 1906 SF earthquake). And we’ve been here since 1996. Anywhere here that we would move to would triple our monthly rent. Or more than triple it
