I made this Kirby ear bud case. But I can’t figure out how to keep it closed without putting a button in an awkward spot on the face. Can someone help!

You could try tying yarn to the air
Pods case and the Kirby
You should make the eyes the buttons!
I thought abt doing that but I didn’t like how the buttons were more circular than oval. I’ll keep thinking how I could use buttons.
I’m pretty sure there are oval buttons, or you can hot glue clasps or yarn to the back of the eyes to close it.
u could put velcro on the inside of the kirby and on the air pod case
But if you use a red button it would be his mouth!
SOoooo cute!!! Maybe put velcro on the bottom half of the eyes, half the eyes are on the top half and half are on the bottom so I think that would work! Sorry if that doesnt help
I like the idea although I think the eyes are too small![]()
Yeah now that I look at it, they are pretty small. Hope you find a good idea though!!
That is actually a great idea ![]()
This is kinda random, but I was thinking small: what if you used some tiny hook-and-eye clasps (like for bra hooks) under each eye? If placed strategically, I’d think the eyes could hide them and no one would know. ![]()
I would make it in a single crocheted piece, leaving the opening at the top rather than in the middle. That way, you could finish it by adding a small zipper, or simply sew a loop on one side and a chain on the other. By passing the chain through the loop, it stays closed, and you can also attach it to a bag or a backpack if you’d like to carry it visibly.
You can get plain buttons that look similar to the eyes then you can paint them or use paint pens and put his eyes but make sure the buttons are not plastic maybe wood
That’s what I was about to suggest!
Make they eyes buttons and put little loops around each one maybe
button for mouth? or 2 buttone and make it the eyes?
Perhaps some very small magnets? I know the ones from toothbrushes are good for tight spaces like this.
maybe custom button eyes
