i read over this a couple times and i think i might know what it means? or at least im going to try to explain it to the best of my understanding

decrease, sc, then you’re supposed to be where the knee and the leg meet, so you start the decrease in the last stitch of the leg and complete the decrease in the first stitch of the knee. so for a regular decrease, you would pull up a loop from the last stitch of the leg piece, then pull up a loop in the first stitch of the knee piece, and finish the decrease. and on the other side, it’s starting the decrease and pulling up a loop in the last stitch of the knee piece and pulling up a loop and completing the decrease in the first stitch of the leg piece

does this make sense?
