So I’ve been crocheting for about +3 hours a day, for the past 5 days or week or idk. I’ve taken on goostav the goose, and a star blanket. I sorta need motivation. This… is my hand and projects
Hand a projects
Let me just say my fingerprint rubbed off and I have a friction burn on my palm. I suggest everyone should get some self adhesive tape, it’s really useful for injury’s.
Giant goostav the goose, biggest amigarumi project I’ve attempted. Started about 3 days ago.
6 day star blanket, it’s pretty big and I’ve been working on it for 2-3 weeks

I feel you, I’ve been crocheting nonstop during my winter break from school! I bought compression gloves which help with wrist pain, if that’s something you’re interested in. I would recommend fingerless ones.
I’ve been wanting to make Goostav the Goose for a long time now - would you recommend the pattern?
And your star blanket is so prettyy! Also something I’ve been wanting to make for a while!

Wrists aren’t complaining. Just friction related Injury’s. I was thinking about tight gloves, but I’ll probably grow out of them. So far, goostav has been really good, it’s a great pattern. Free, so I suggest looking over it.

Well at least you have goosetav’s legs and everything done… I just have half a goose body with eyes and a beak lying in my WIP box for like 3 months
but good luck!

always wanted to make Goosetav
Good luck on the blanket! I started mines, did like 2-3 repeating rows and called it a day(proceeded to name it ‘the star of doom’ at a market and sold it:D)

About as big as a giant coaster for a very large bowl or a pan

Take a break!!! In April, June, and July I had to wear this baby while crocheting in small amounts if at all. Splints aren’t fun. DON’T GET TO THAT STAGE

From a combination of crocheting every day at every available time (probably 4-5 hours a day) PLUS playing the cello for at least an hour every day

Be careful and please take a break! Try crocheting a bit less or even not for a while, or you could get carpal tunnel or smt else

Whenever I crochet like crazy I give myself breaks and do some wrist and finger exercise. It helps so my muscles don’t hurt when I slow down. It’s almost like writers cramp. Right now I’m missing my crocheting but I’m needing to do other things. Cleaning craft area and organizing yarn back to its spots.
