I made my way onto this page and I saw rinmeow21 cow. But it wasn’t rinmeow selling it. I look at the page and there are numerous patterns that are not hers that she’s selling. She is also putting a picture of someone’s pattern for thumbnail but it will be a whole other pattern! The etsy shop is (MountahaDesign) I don’t know if this person was given rights to resell but can you all contact the real pattern creators and ask them.

It’s such a shame how often this happens and the worst thing is how these accounts with stolen patterns get so many sales before getting reported. I’ve seen some really awesome pattern designers stop selling patterns altogether because they were tired of dealing with the theft

It was a stress ball that I ended up deleting later, lol. My friend found it and got the pattern. It was the exact same, along with all my mistakes; I was a beginner at the time. In my mind, I was wondering why they even copied the photo (only zoomed in) and were too lazy to make their own. Ribblr deleted the shop though!!

I did report them but I don’t know if Etsy will do anything. It’s sad to see this person almost has 300 sales

The actual pattern owner has to report it. The site will ignore anyone else who complains. Only the pattern owner has the “standing” to complain
