😅idk about this

I seen this really cute “Whale tester call pattern” a couple days ago! I was going to apply but didn’t have the yarn for it then. So tonight I was going down discovering patterns to save to my wishlist & saw the same whale. Not once but twice…

I dont mean to be like the Ribblr Police hahah but someone make it make sense :woman_facepalming:

I’m still pretty new so I don’t know all the ways that Ribblr works, but is there a way to report them? Maybe Ribblr can then investigate which is the original??

Well im farely new too! I just been here a week. Im not sure if you can! Im still learning everything about Ribblr. Ill look into it

But edit to my post : out of 3 photos. Its just 2 accounts involved
(1 creator & another creator who posted the pattern/tester call). So i dont know whos the original creator, or if the 2 patterns are written the same. But the photos are identical!

You should totally report these!!

If you scroll down to the end of the pattern there is a report button for every pattern. No worries about being Ribblr police! I would use the share link for each pattern and choose one to report and in the report message place both links and say you aren’t sure which of the two is stealing but they share the same photo that way Ribblr can investigate it and determine who has their pattern photo (or pattern) stolen

Okay! Thanks! I will do that. See im still learning things! I dont want to blame anybody. Im just trying to look out for the community. I know if this happened to me, i would want to know about it!

I don’t understand why someone would steal like this? (Or in general really).
Like… what do they gain stealing work for something they’re giving away for free :woman_shrugging:
Am glad there’s a reporting system for patterns!!

true, Ive seen this happen a few times with different patterns

Yes I understand no worries! The report won’t notify the one being reported so Ribblr will investigate, so don’t hesitate if you think something was stolen whether it be a photo or an actual pattern. If it’s stolen they’ll take it off and if it’s not, no harm no foul  I also added a screenshot here for anyone curious of where it is
