Im looking for quick advice if possible!

I wanna begin making crochet patterns, but considering im fairly new to crocheting, i wanna know if anyone has any advice! If you have any patterns that might help me test out different patterns, and maybe help begin making patterns of my own using some of the same stitches, let me know! I dearly appreciate any help!

hi! welcome to ribblr!
its fairly easy to create patterns in ribblr.
if you’re looking for patterns to get used to the terms, id recommend is looking for basic patterns that require a little bit of sewing, just so you can get used to sewing on pieces. You can test patterns on here as well (just go to the Testing zone, to get started!) for the crocheting part, I’d recommend you go through BOTH loops in the stitch, I see lots of beginners make this mistake, by going into the back loop only (BLO). but if the pattern says to go in the FLO ((front loop only) loop closest to you), or the BLO ((back loop only) loop away from you), make sure to follow the patterns instructions.

i started with lokking at orther patterns i tested alot before i made one and i also tryed alot of things witth my yarn. Mostly it was very random thet i came up to an idea but i also asked what i should make to this comunity so if you dont know what to make then you can ask some ideas.

hi welcome to ribblr. When I was new i learnt stitches as I went from video tutorials. I started designing patterns after a few video projects. I would say if you want to design any get used to how people write them and take photos of bits that may be unclear when a tester comes to recreate it. As for actually designing them draw out what you would like to make then think about elements that you can add. Learning different parts as you go from different patterns is how I went about it.
