Inside Crochet -UK version

First, I am Canadian.
Second, I do understand the difference between UK terms and “American “ terms.
Does anyone make patterns from this magazine?
Specifically Issue 131
I love this magazine and got the electronic version, I haven’t had any issues until this issue.
It is a blanket called the Sugarfrost Blanket.

Anyone? Or just crazy me?!!

I’m not familiar with that magazine, sorry !

But tell us what the problem is, and we can try to help you out !
Is it a certain sentence, or certain instruction or something ?

So the problem really starts at the beginning, I do t seem to have the same number of stitches after the beginning. When I get Row two done, I am short a stitch which keeps multiplying, as you can guess, as I go on!
The Beg tr( in American terms is sc and one chain)
Thank you for responding :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Hm, I’m trying to figure this out.

My first thought was, the designier is counting the ch at the start of work (the one you need to turn your work) along at total stitch count.
But if so, the pattern still doesn’t make sense.

I think the first row is off. I think the pattern should start with 15 ch instead of 14.

I hope that will solve the problem. Let us know !

So I started with the chain increase but still, after diligently following all the directions ended up with number and pattern issues. I know I am translating the stitches correctly, so I am going to frog and try again. It is a beautiful small blanket!

I tried it with an extra chain, numbers still off halfway through

Oh my, I have no idea what’s going on with this.
I think you should contact the designer, I have no clue how to get this right !

ETA: I don’t mean to draw you away from Ribblr, but maybe you could contact the designer here:

It’s a very pretty design ! It looks wonderful and I hope you can get some help with this.
