It was only a few months ago when I asked you all - should Ribblr launch its own yarn?
And you voted with a big YES.
You also told me how frustrated you were with companies selling yarn. Lack of innovation, high prices, low quality and above all a total disconnect from crafters. I believe companies selling yarn should be, at the very least, partly-owned or led by us. Real makers.
This is even more important today, in a world where there’s so much AI slop around.
I promised to keep you posted every step of the way. This yarn belongs to all of us.

This is a soft, fun to work with, 100% acrylic worsted yarn. It’ll be available in 20 solid colors, plus 8 print-color and even some sparkly ones. More on this soon

So cool! I can’t wait to try it out! Yarn really hasn’t been the same for years… I’d make a different colored version of my Service Dog pattern like a chocolate colored version. I am not sure what I would make with it, but a realistic dragon is the ultimate crochet (is it squeaky? Is it smooth?) and sewing (is it durable?) test due to the high tension and complicated techniques, and they’re also my favorite thing to make, so that is the most likely scenario!
It’s so pretty!! Also I love the yarn label!! It’s so much easier to see on the actual yarn! I’d have to think of what to make with it cuz there’s many things I could!!
I just thought of a pattern! I think this pattern would be super cute with it!!
.. would definitely have to be something to keep me warm , a scarf , cardigan, blanket… I’m always cold 
. So need something squishy x
