What about a little cactus garden? Or flowers? So many cute patterns out there right now. This pattern is from the books “Whimsical Stitches”, by Laureen Espy

I knitted one of these Brunch Bags for my my boyfriend’s mother’s birthday and sent it to the UK from Australia.

Hmmm I guess something not really big, yet practical is the best choice
Maybe, a hat or a pair of armwarmers/gloves? Or, for example, a little crocheted keychain that will remind your mother of you!

Instead of flowers for mother’s day, crochet some air plant pods to hold air plants. They can be flattened for shipping: https://ribblr.com/pattern/air-plant-pods-crochet

That’s a wonderful idea! My mum doesn’t keep hanging plants so it wouldn’t be good for her, but this will be great for my mother-in-law !!

Make a custom dishcloth. Either crochet with colors or c2c to make a flower, or a flower shaped one. Or maybe an Angel shaped one with a bit of scrubby in the wings.

This is adorable. I would probably crochet the vase also though. Just me. https://www.repeatcrafterme.com/2017/05/crochet-flowers-on-canvas.html
