Dont remember if I ever suggested this or not but I wish we could comment on journals!!
Even if it is just limited to the creator and maker!! Iāve seen so many of my bunkins being made and wish I could respond to them!! I feel like a like button just donāt portray my joy when I see them.
Edit to add: I do wish there was a spot where when someoneās posts a journal I have it in an area I can click to be sent to it. I often get notifications for them on my phone but when it opens my app it often donāt send me to it but my shop page and or I get multiples at once but if I click just one they all clear off my phone and I have to hunt through all my patterns to find the one new one cause i always try to like their journal lol so maybe a ānotificationsā for in the shop manager for the journals posted?
Yes!!! Iāve seen someone use a yarn I fell in love with and I had to find them and dm them and I just felt intrusive for a simple thing lol a way to comment would of definitely helped that!!
This would be great. It would also be helpful for when testers leave feedback in journals (instead of chat) but then they completely ghost and I canāt get them to move their feedback to the right spot⦠I wish I could add a comment under it explaining that that particular journal was based on an earlier version of the pattern⦠idk Iām still overthinking that one
YES! itās so frustrating when that happens. cause by the time I post it pattern those issues will be fixed. Iāve even had someone claim a pattern and the āissueā was a user error as it was not wrong and now It just sits there.-. a response would help people see Iām active to help and see the fix to the issue and it just feels rude to message someone to say āremove your journalā you know?
Exactly! And then I worry about those kind of journal reviews unfairly affecting sales⦠but if I could dispute it and share my side by commenting on the journal, that would make me feel so much better. I only have one journal like that so itās probably not enough to noticeably affect me, I just worry too much lol but I thought others might have more experiences like that than I do so far.
I think messaging the designer with any questions or issues first is better than ranting and raving on a journal without giving the designer a chance to fix the problems first.
