Just showing some of my art! (Mind you this is my sketchbook so it’s messy) 😂

I LOVE the frog/toad page!!! You are amazing at drawing! I’m not very good at it:sob: these are probably the best ones of mine

Please forgive my messy background :sob:

You’re so talented omg :) I wish I could draw-I’m artistic and my grandfather was a talented artist too with drawing and painting and he wanted me to learn but I have like the worst depth perception so it’s super hard for me lol. Anyway, I actually know quite a lot about bugs (I studied them in grad school!), and there are three main segments of a bug: head, thorax, and abdomen (in that order). And all legs, wings, other appendages will come out of the middle section (the thorax). Just thought this might help a bit with drawing them. They’re amazing as is though! You should definitely look into doing more with naturalist drawings if you like it because entomologists (and other biology fields) hire artists to do this for papers they publish or chapters they write for textbooks, etc.

Ty so much :heart_hands: (I have sooo many different art styles :joy:, one day I’m like, “I think I’ve FINALLY found my art style” the next day … “oh well, I’m just gonna ditch this art style and start a new one” :joy:

Oh there are so many to like! I’m also fond of the toads and tardigrades with their adorable and fun style which first caught my eye, but I’m glad I looked again because I had missed the spiderweb and puddle reflection (apologies if I’m mistaken). The sci-fi/fantasy concept in the first is super cool, too! You are so inventive and skilled :sparkles:

(Edit: After perusing it appears we have quite a few adept artists here!)
