Knit or Crochet Wind Spinners. Make your last minute decoration with these free patterns

I have just published 2 free patterns for windspinners. One version is for knitting, the other for crocheting.
Stuck for a last minute make? The good news is that these cheerful decorations work up in minutes, use up scraps, and are free patterns.

Hope someone gets some use from them!

Thank you. I’m quite proud of the knitted version. There are lots of crochet patterns and you tube videos for crochet ones. Mine is my original pattern in so far as I made my own interpretation as a Christmas ornament and wrote up the pattern from scratch. But it’s only one of many.
As far as I know, there is no pattern in existence yet for a knitted one. But I saw no reason it wouldn’t be possible following the same principles as the crochet one. So after a couple of tries, found a way of making one I was happy with.
Hoping it brings a little Christmas joy to someone.
