A friend requested a keyboard cover for her daughter’s foldout keyboard. Based on what she wanted, I created the pattern. I just finished making this for her. It’s laying on top of my keyboard which is much shorter and wider. But it still shows it. It turned out pretty sweet.
I left a cut out to go around the music holder but otherwise it would make a really nice scarf also.
I used a 4.25 size G hook. The yarn is Lion Brand Truboo. It is a very light weight bamboo yarn, so it took a while to do. I should have documented the time but easily forty hours, maybe double that.
It could just be that was what she got, and didn’t want to order more. I waited the project on her getting the yarn. She will use the extras for a shawl. I love the feel of it.

Edited to say I made the keyboard pattern. You can add to it as you like. Like a scarf, or a blanket. I will send you a link to test it and you can let me know what you think after that.
