Leggy Monkey -Tester Appreciation + Release

Hey Everyone!

I’m proud to say the time has come to release my very first solo pattern on Ribblr!

I have had some amazing testers helping me look over and try out this pattern, and I look forward to seeing everyone’s finished journals later!

With that being said, let’s reveal my testers!
I want to thank all of you for helping me improve this pattern!

Tester Appreciation

Tags: @Deboraa @Amivm @ILoveArt104 @quokkaaa @elissa3000 @PlanitElle @Callmemimo

They all did such a great job, don’t forget to check out their stuff as well!
Here are the final pictures!

And we all know what comes after testing has been completed…

The Release

Just press “The Release” above and you will be redirected to the pattern!

Let’s dig into the story behind the pattern.
It was inspired by the viral crochet Leggy Froggy, which became super popular when i sold them at markets with my friend @Amivm

My younger sister is probably one of my biggest supporters, always ordering stuff and making our parents pay hahah
She requested a monkey with the same “leggy feature” as the frogs!
Christmas got closer by every day, and i still had nothing to make her.

I could not find any patterns on leggy monkeys, so i decided to write down how I did as I freestyled, and here we are!

A few weeks, 8 awesome testers, and a hand injury later, it’s finally time forthe release!

About the hand injury mentioned…

This stupid hand of mine has decided to get a problem no doctor can find.. yet… : (

That sadly means, no more crocheting for now…
But that doesn’t mean pattern writing stops!

After the awesome idea I got from my friend @Amivm …
I have decided to make more versions of the leggy monkey!

So… What’s Next?

I am planning on making loads of different animals for a leggy bundle!

But since I can’t crochet at the moment, I will mostly be freestyling what I think works, which means I need all testers i can get!

Please comment if you’d like to be a tester for those animals and help me out, and I’ll tag you in the tester calls!
Also, if you have ideas on animals you’d like to see “leggy-fied” next, reach out or comment on this post!

Best Regards

Ronja :purple_heart:

Thanks for the appreciation!!! I loved making the monkey so much and I will definitely make more in the future!!! I thought about making different animals as well so I’m so excited to hear that you will make the pattern for that!!! I would love to test the other animals as well but I might not be able to depending on how busy I am at the time of testing! Please tag me though just incase! I think a rabbit or a bear would be really cute!!! I hope you hand injury gets better soon and you can keep crocheting!

I had so much fun to make it

Can you make a wing/leg bird (parot or pinguĂŻn) for my bird loving son?

And you can start with a Bear…then you only need to remake the tale

Tihi, i know! All i need to freestyle is the tails, ears, and perhaps the arms and legs for bird animals!

Does your son like penguins or parrots most?

But I’m also lucky to have amazing testers. Do you want to be tagged in the future tester calls for the leggy animals?
