Hey guys! It’s been awhile. I haven’t like posted in a month.
I technically have a pattern tested and ready to post just been procrastinating that for a while
I also have another pattern ready to test, and another that I’m freehanding thinking about writing down and testing.
The one I’m freehanding is actually kind of a bundle, I’m making a bunch of flower patterns and I was wondering- would you guys pay for a bundle of spring themed flowers? I’m pretty proud of the pattern, just worried that my shop is pretty small and if I made it priced, no one would rlly buy it.
Speaking of having a small shop… I’ve been thinking of making a shop followers goal for the year. I’m kinda inspired by @Callmemimo because Mimo has been doing a shop followers goal and has grown so much in the past month! I was thinking maybe like 1000 by the end of the year? But that’s kind of TOO reasonable so maybe… TWO THOUSAND?
Idk guys do you think we can do it? And would you buy (or do you think others would buy) flower patterns if I posted them as a priced pattern?

I don’t buy patterns either (though I’m thinking about supporting some crafters and buying them but I’m a bit broke) which is why I’m a bit stumped on what to price them or whether to price them at all
I wonder if you did a paid pattern, (I couldn’t buy it) but if you did, you should do a giveaway for them! so some broke people (me, me, and me) have a chance of trying it out!
Good luck on your continued pattern writing journey! Like other things in life, it is often a good idea to have goals. The best way to get shop followers is to have quality patterns that people will want. Unfortunately there is a smaller group of people on Ribblr willing to pay for patterns, but if you have some that are reasonably priced in comparison to similar patterns on this site, you will do fine! I don’t believe you need to rally to get shop followers (most users that are older or have been around for a while don’t seem to go for that). Just try to be active in the community (not too crazy lol!), provide a new pattern here and there (do not pressure yourself to make a certain number in a certain time frame if will be too overwhelming), and just have fun!
That’s great advice to any crafter. I second that!
As a designer myself, I find it overwhelming when I have too many things happening all at once so yes, take as much time as u need to not get overwhelmed.
