Logo?!?

Hey guys! Just wondering how you all make your AMAZING shop logos!? Do you hand draw them? Or draw them online? Or maybe Canva, or have AI generate them? Are there like rules and things on if you are making an actual logo for Etsy or a small business or smtn? Just wondering about how you make your logos and if there is anything that is or isn’t allowed!

You can ask people on ribblr to create our logos! I usually like to hand-draw mine before drawing it on digital

I drew mine and then digitized it (but ive had a lot of graphic design courses).

The only rules are to use photos and fonts in the public domain. If you’re on google theres a button in tools that lets you see only public photos you can use commercially (i forget the buttons name). And most fonts are free to use. If you are on canva or other computer programs they def will be. If you download fonts from another website it may not be meant for commercial use so you might want to check if the artist wants credit.

I’ve never heard of anyone getting in trouble but it could happen!

I hope that helps!

Canva is a really good platform! Everything they have on there will be public domain and there are plently of templates to try out!

I had to use two apps to make mine. Because I want it to be able to watermark as well as be a logo. So I used canva and phonto.

I used canva for mine

I hand sketched a bunch of ideas and then drew a detailed pic of my plan. I made original crochet designs and photographed them. Last step was adding the text in PowerPoint (I would have used canva if I didn’t already have PowerPoint). I’m using the same process to make a new banner for my shop in the same crocheted nature theme. I love to spend time in my garden. :sunflower:
Happy designing!

I use Canva, and procreate ( I love digital art ). Those are my main apps.
