Oh I know how that feels!
Maybe some mini keychains like a chick( I have a pattern for that) and it takes 15 minutes tops so you can make 4 in one hours.
Or you can make some mini octos, also have a pattern, and it takes about 10 minutes!
Maybe a few mini bees and other little things and then one something that takes two hours. Sell it for about 40 then

WOW! That’s so exciting, and also stressful! I would recommend making lots of little chickens and loaf cats, as those always seem to sell like crazy for me, and if you’re gonna invest the time in a longer project, I would suggest making dragons (in pink, purple and orange! Those are always the most popular colors 
).

These chickens are ALWAYS so popular. And you can turn some of them into keychains/ornaments!
This is one of my favorite patterns to make, and they sell like hot cakes. 
Do lots of bright colors and don’t feel like you have to keep them realistic! Kids love bright pink, purple, red, green, orange, yellow, etc. 
These cats are also really popular! Make pink ones as well. (Again, I didn’t put an X on the back of it. )
My_universe64 on YouTube (the same as the links I just shared) also has a lot of other really cute and quick patterns for market makes!
This pattern on Ribblr is free and also turns out super cute.

Do the dogs take lots of yarn ?

Not really. They’re pretty small. I use skeins of yarn that are 131 yds each, and I can get like 3 to 3½ dachshunds out of one thing of yarn (I’m pretty sure).
