Menu Bar Bug

This really weird bug happens almost every time I log on to Ribblr. The lower menu bar moves up when I scroll and then glitches the whole screen out so that I have to restart the app. And sometimes it just happens over and over until I give up for a while.

I tried restarting my phone and checking for updates but nothing helped. It doesn’t help when I change wifi or anything. It’s been happening for a few weeks

Yep! Happening to me too!

Hi! This is an iOS26 bug. All you need to do is upgrade to iOS 26.1.
Go to your settings then General and click software update.

The IOS update fixed most of it, but there are still some scrolling glitches mostly in replying to someone and tester GCs

We are not aware of any issues. Could you share more? you can send us a video to support@ribblr.com or share screenshots with us.

Here is an example of a minor bar glitch, I can send others later when I remember to screenshot them, this particular minor issue pops up on patterns for me too

Same here. I’m gonna try updating to iOS 26.1 and see if that helps

That screenshot is after updating, it definitely helps, but it still has some bugs, much more minor then the original iOS 26 update, the image is the max gift the bar travels with the patch update, you’ll still have difficulties with replying and scrolling too, it’s more manageable then without the patch update that’s for sure

So your bottom menu bar isn’t pinned to the bottom, is that right?

Can you please share with iPhone you have and also the exact iOS version? (Go to settings, general, about, click iOS version and then take a screenshot)

Proof I got the update :up_arrow::up_arrow::up_arrow:

And some more screenshots of the glitch still going (definitely not as bad as before the update) and I did post these a little bit ago on someone else’s similar question, so I apologize for the duplicates :down_arrow::down_arrow::down_arrow:

This image shows my message becoming invisible as I am in the middle of typing it, as well as randomly it also jumped the message to a random section, thankfully before I hit send it confirmed where I wanted to post the message :down_arrow::down_arrow::down_arrow:

This image shows my message becoming invisible as I am in the middle of typing it, it posts visible, but typing without being able to see the words is really hard it also jumping to the top of the GC while I was typing :down_arrow::down_arrow::down_arrow:

This image shows my message box in my DM suddenly jumping to the top of the screen and separating from my keyboard:down_arrow::down_arrow::down_arrow:

The greyed out rectangles are my own edits (and not a glitch, just wanted to make sure I was clear about that) except the bottom part that is greyed out, that one is part of the glitch where the things that should be at the bottom are separated from it and elevated, because it was a screenshot from my DMs and I wanted to maintain privacy, to be clear the grey rectangles have absolutely nothing to do with glitches or Ribbler.

This screenshot literally just happened while I was editing this exact post :down_arrow::down_arrow::down_arrow:

That does look frustrating! Can you try to:

  1. close the app
  2. re-open the app and click community
  3. browse around, try to post and use chat

Do this all without leaving the app. We have a suspicion this may have happened because of leaving the app and coming back as it’s related to the same Apple bug.

If the issue still occurs please let us know. If it doesn’t you can then use as normal (go to other apps and come back) and try to see if there’s a specific trigger for this. i.e going to a different app while chat/post typing is open.

Right now the only way to ‘clear’ the Apple bug is to close and re-open app. It’s an issue on their end with calculating the correct screen size which unfortunately affects thousands of apps.

Unfortunately this didn’t work, but it definitely is on apples end because it happens on almost every app including of course google my main search engine.
