Hi All,
I searched for this topic but I didnât see anything about it.
I often see in some crochet groups that people are struggling to understand a pattern and they would like to reach out to the designers to have some clarification, but actually they canât and the result is that they have to take a screenshot, share part of the pattern to ask for help in the group.
I actually searched as well using the âview as customerâ option, I didnât find anywhere for them to message us designers.
Not only I would love to help someone stuck on my patterns, but also if there is a mistake they found out I would love to have the possibility to correct it.
Is there any way for a customer to contact the designer?
So if you are asking if you can message a designer for help you can! You can either choose to do a personal chat or personal message. You just ask them whatâs needed but if they donât reply, I recommend asking someone in the Ribblr chat or community.
Thereâs multiple ways to contact the designer!
The quickest would be to hit this button on the pattern. It automatically writes that you need help with the pattern!
Iâm a designer so I donât personally need to contact another designer, but a person in a crochet group said they didnât find a way to contact the designer and actually I donât see a way either. But all I see itâs from a designer perspective so I canât see from a customer perspective. I can see the public chat, but not the private one (again from a customer perspective). It would be easier to have a button in the design with written âcontact the designerâ or something similar.
Yeees, thatâs what I was searching for, but, as designer, I couldnât see it. I will recommend that to the person on that group.
Thank you so much!
Another way, inside the pattern itself is a box with a question mark. Click on it and one thing it says is contact designer. First picture shows the view on my phone, and the other on my laptop. Far right on both, bottom edge on phone, top on laptop.
Thank you
Hi, when you look in the pattern there should be a button that looks like a speech bubble in the top left. If you click on it there is an option to contact the designer.
Hope this helps!
