May is
Mental Health Awareness Month, and Ribbot is here to remind you to slow down, create, and check in with yourself
Crafting can be a powerful way to relax, process emotions, and care for your mental well-being, one stitch at a time. This month’s challenge is all about making with meaning. Whether your project brings you calm, joy, focus, or comfort, we want to celebrate the connection between creativity and well-being.
Here’s how to join in:
- Make anything you like. It can be an amigurumi, wearable, accessory, or any project you completed this month
- Post a journal on the May Challenge Pattern linked here. In your journal notes, share a small mental check-in and how this project made you feel.
Entries run from May 4th to June 7th
On June 8th, Ribbot will pick 3 submissions, and each winner will receive 5 gems
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about expression, reflection, and taking a moment for yourself. We can’t wait to see your makes and hear your stories.
Take care and happy making,
Team Ribblr

I will join in this as I have been making emotional support chickens for everyone in my family but haven’t found the perfect yarn or color that makes me feel the peace and calm I am looking for. So the search is on…. Once I am done will post so all can see

I believe I’ve seen someone else ask this before on a previous monthly challenge post (and they were told “yes”), but, I think it’s better to ask than just assume:
If we complete multiple projects this month are we allowed multiple entries?
I have a feeling there are plenty of people here who are paving paths towards personal growth and bettering their mental health - and they just might have multiple ideas or projects they’ve been wanting to do that resonate with the different facets of their journey
