Models for Patterns

I am just throwing this idea out there because I don’t know if anyone would even be interested but here it goes!

I was wondering if any crocheters would be willing to test and model clothing patterns. Models will have to be be at least 18yo but the crocheter can be any age. I would be looking for high quality photos with a nice background. Also, maybe short videos to be used on Instagram to promote the pattern. I am plus sized and hate the way I look so I don’t like taking photos of myself. I am also afraid that people are not purchasing my patterns because my current model is 3yo and they might think it is just a child size pattern.

And just to be clear, size does not matter. You just need to be comfortable in your own skin and willing to post photos of yourself online.

I don’t have many clothing patterns yet but I am creating more all the time and have a few designs sketched that just need written. I do have a tester call open for a made to measure hexigranny skirt with optional border if you are interested :blush:

i would totally do this, but i don’t crochet skirts and clothings because it uses too much yarn :sob: im more of a plushie person

i wish i could, and you have lovely patterns, but im just not comfortable having pictures of me online. i really hope you find some amazing models for this though!

I’m down to do it if you’d like; my face (and body lol) are online already because I’ve previously crocheted/shared garments on social media and here on Ribblr! I’m plus sized, too, which I think can be great to show inclusive sizing, as well. You’re welcome to take a look at my makes to see some of my…modeling (lol) or on IG: stitch.sprite.

I’d love that! You have already tested for me and did an awesome job :grin:and I just followed you on Instagram. I think what I’ll do is tag anyone who wants to try it in my tester calls so they will be alerted to a new test. If you want, the hexigranny skirt pattern is in testing now and the skull headband. I’d be happy to add you if you apply :blush:

I also would like to if you need another! I’ve posted myself on social media plenty of times lol. However I’ve only ever made a swimsuit top tho so making clothes is somewhat new to me but I really want to do it more.
I’ve been crocheting for about a year tho making other things so I think that I could catch on fast lol
I’ve recently made a new instagram for all my crochet projects so its just starting out, however, but its fairytale.bay
