Muting patterns?

Is there a way to remove patterns from your sight? I keep seeing ā€œinappropriateā€ patterns (especially since Iā€™m a minor) that I would really just prefer were out of my sight. Is there a way to do that?

Hmm, Iā€™m not sure, but you can mute tags one of which is the nsfw tag which should already be muted for everyone unless changed by the actual user, and I believe patterns have tags so if you report the pattern for not using the correct tags Ribblr can correct it to add it and that should get it out of your sight hopefully, not entirely sure how if itā€™ll work for patterns if not perhaps this is something @Ribblr can help more with

If you see a pattern in the library that is not hidden, report it.
Opening said pattern and scrolling to the bottom will bring you to very tiny print that gives you a link to report the pattern and why.

Thank you for bringing that up. Iā€™m not a minor ( Iā€™m actually old ) but lots of new pattern releases have been quite overboard inappropriate to me and should have been censored. I want to have my settings censored from now on because these last few days was way too much. Thank you again!

I agree. I even put one designer on ignore because it was way too much for me even though her patterns are appropriately tagged (she doesnā€™t seem to want to design anything but inappropriate patterns that I would prefer not to see). Her post was not tagged NSFW even though her patterns are.

Hi! As it was previuosly stated, mature content should all be categorized as NSFW; if you have NSFW turned off it wouldnā€™t show :slight_smile:
Now, if you do have NSFW off and you are seeing it, then please report it

Iā€™m glad I saw this. I didnā€™t know I could block NSFW patterns but now I know how and Iā€™m glad for it.

Does that hide the shop? How do I do that?

I think somewhere in the account settings there are ā€œmuted usersā€ or something like that, and Iā€™m pretty sure you judd add the username onto the list? I might be wrong though

You can mute or ignore users, but Iā€™m not sure that it hides their shop.

Ah, Iā€™m not too worried about the forum I just donā€™t care to see, or have my kids stumble on the nsfw shops.
