I’m jealous of y’all who see them in the wild, I’ve only had the opportunity in zoos.

Honestly i have a hard time believing that because they are scavengers so they eat already dead things

They mostly eat the fruit that comes from the oil palm plant! Also some meat, like fish

But they’re scavengers?

Yeah, I’m allergic to that one’s main diet, palm & crustaceans

@HorseyCrocheter They pecked the 9month (estimated age cause it was a friend’s dog that used to be a stray and took a liking to their family, they live on a farm) pup to death technically it was “only” almost death, but it was bad enough they had to put the pup down it was like 3 or 5 of them, the family has no clue why they suddenly did that to the pup (it was friendly, they even raised chickens that the pup was careful with and nice to) but they actually had it happen, yes it’s rare, but it happened, in general I like vultures because they really are like the ones in the ice age cartoon waiting (for the animal to die, not making it dead) but I do not like the individual ones that I haven’t seen and don’t need to that hurt the pup, I only hold the vultures that actually hurt the pup responsible those I don’t like.
Edit; any other vultures (even the same breed type) are all fine by me just not the vulture gang

Huh, I wonder if there was a food scarcity issue or something?
