i finally finished!! only took a day and a half and some mental breakdowns 
here’s the pattern i used if anyone wants it Giant Crochet Jellyfish - Repeat Crafter Me
i used about 3/4 a skein of bernat blanket for the main color and 1/4 a skein for the pink tentacles. can’t wait to give it to my dad!
