My Guinea pig ate my crochet hook

Guys I left my crochet bag on the floor last night and let my Guinea pig out and just noticed this:sob::sob::sob:

The one on the right is what it used to look like!!
The Guinea pig appears to be okay but I’m still deciding whether or not I should forgive him for eating one of my favorite crochet hooks:joy::joy::joy: (although it is kind of my fault for leaving my stuff on the floor)
Just for reference it’s so hard to be mad at this cutie

Ikr that was like my favorite crochet hook too. I know it’s wierd because I have another one that’s exactly the same but it just doesn’t work quite as well. The hook part slides out some when I crochet

Omg now I have to be afraid of that too. I let my Guinea pig run around the whole house because it hilarious and he loves it so much. I think I should move my projects off of the floor now:sob:

Not the 4mm! That’s my favorite size:sob: I’m glad I don’t have any pets because my yarn would never be safe:yellow_heart:

I have to keep my hooks and my made plushies away from this girl, she likes to chew the safety eyes out

hahaha i’m lucky in the fact that my dogs don’t eat hooks… but my puppy does try to eat my yarn. i swear he’s a cat. i’ll be in the middle of making something and he’ll just start chewing on the yarn that’s between the project and the skein. there was one time he picked it up and ran with it :joy:

lol I have that same problem with yarn too. I was crocheting just last week and my Guinea pig was in my lap and I wasn’t paying attention and he chewed right through the strand of yarn I was working with. I had to fasten a whole new strand of yarn to my project. The crochet hook was the worst thing he’s done tho:angry:

My cat chewed on my bamboo knitting needles so now it’s small bite marks on it but I se it as a memory from when she was a kitten (forgot to say that she was trying when I was knitting and it was so hard to take it from her because she thought it was a toy)
