Hewo everyone!!!
I just thought I would share my March 2026 book wrap up!
I would love it if you guys posted yours too, either in the comments or as an entirely new post, so feel free to tag me if you do!
Ok, so in this post I want to cover five things: TBR, progress on my TBR, what books I bought this month, what I read this month with ratings, and what I plan to read this month.
Letās start with my TBR!
I have approximately 46 books on my TBR, one of which is a re-read (Heartless!).
I read 11 books off of my TBR last month, also reading another one for a book club!
I bought way too many books this month, adding 29 to my TBR, but to be fair, I did buy most of them at our local thrift shop where paperbacks are $1.00 USD and hardbacks are $1.50 USD.
Here are all the books I read this month with ratings!
Just to let you know, this is my rating system:
: Extremely not enjoyable.
: Not enjoyable, but I pushed through.
: Decent read.
: One of the top books Iāve read! Loved it!
: Best book ever!!!
With that said, letās let into the books!
- This Tender Land

I loved this book sm, it was so tenderhearted and made me cry when it shouldnāt have bc I cared so. flipping. much. for the characters! I want to recommend this to all of my friends! - Catching Fire

Even though this is a re-read, Catching Fire is easily one of the best books Iāve ever read. The characters are well written, the plot moves at a great pace, and I just love it sm! - Mockingjay

I loved this book but itās so freaking sad. Definitely an amazing end to the Hunger Games series, but I do wish that we knew more about how the government played out after the war (the rebellion). - The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (TBOSAS)

I love seeing Coriolanusā villain arc sm and I love both characters until the end. I will say, I didnāt like the excessive alc0hol consumption for 12 year olds, it made me a tiny bit uncomfortable even tho understand it is a part of our world. - Matched

This is one of those dystopian series that you wish added up to The Hunger Games bc it has such great potential. I loved the world, but thereās a lot of things left unanswered. - Crossed

Rlly this whole series is a three star. This one is more of a two and a half, I didnāt like the switch from the first book being single POV from this book being multi-POV. Secondly, almost the whole book the pacing was slow. Was rlly frustrated with all of the characters, especially Ky and Cassia. - Reached

This was a nice enough ending to the series with lots of stuff revealed, but idk, the series wasnāt my favorite. I didnāt like the way the other lands were explained, I wanted ppl to go out and explore them and tell me about it, and I didnāt like the way the rebellion worked out. Bonus points for making me almost cry tho when something happened mid-book. - Oliver Twist

This is a 3 and 1/2 for so many reasons. This was a re-read bc I read this as a kid along with Black Beauty and loved it. The book didnāt disappoint, and thereās a new retelling called The Scent of Oranges, I think, that I rlly want to buy now. - The Great Gatsby

Ik sooo many ppl like this classic, but I rlly didnāt know the plot or the point for half of the time. I felt kinda sad when a certain someone died, but I didnāt rlly care for the story much, it just felt like: drinking, affair, Gatsby, smoking, party⦠etc. - Pictures of Hollis Woods

This book is up there with the better middle grade novels! I loved how they portrayed the real feelings of a child in the foster care system being tossed from home to home and it didnāt disappoint. I also loved the way Hollisā backstory was revealed through photos she drew. - The Tanglewoodsā Secret

My mom made me read this book for a book club and I went into it expecting something lame but came out of my room with puffy eyes and tears on my face. It was so sweet and I loved the lessons it was teaching children, especially a very important one about stealing, and I usually donāt like it when the mcs are so rebellious, but Ruth was so sweet the whole time through and always felt bad after what she did. - White Dolphin

If Iām being honest with everyone, I made myself finish this book. Bonus points for including a character with a disability (Felix, who has CP) tho. I didnāt like Kara as a mc tho, but I did like the way the author wrapped up the story of her mom at the ending.
I hope to read nine books in the month of April, and I went past my goal last time, so hopefully I will this time too!
These are the books I want to read in April on my TBR!
