Need advice on inventory for upcoming market events

Hi I’m just wondering how many items should I have for a 1 day craft fair? It’s on December 12th. My mom says I should have at least should have at least 20 items, but I would like other opinions.

Thank you in advance to anyone who replies

“It usually depends on what you’re making, but generally, 20 items might be a bit low for a full-day fair. Aiming for 40–50 items (or a mix of small and larger items) ensures your booth looks full and gives buyers more choices. Good luck on December 12th!”

How many hours? 2-3 hours craft fair i would probably recommend 30+ because people need to see everything u have and increases sales!

It depends on how many hours, but I useful tip is think of how many plushies you realistically want to sell and make double of that so your table never looks empty

Etc, you wanna sell around 20-25 plushies, make around 45-50!

If your table looks to empty, it will deter people

depends on how many hours, and maybe make sure that your booth looks full!

I definitely think you need to have a lot more than 20. The more you have the better.

If you have only 20 products, you could easily sell out before the market ends and you don’t want to have an empty stall if this happens.

If you have too many items to fit on the table that’s okay. Just store them under the table. As an item sells replenish it with one of your extras from under the table.

Do a mock set up of your table/s and see how your current stock fits on it. Have at least enough stock to fill your table and perhaps a box of extras to restock your table/s throughout the day.

Make a list of items you’d like to make and make a plan to work on something each day, so you can build up your stock before the market.

Good luck

If you see everyone’s posts telling you to make a whole bunch of stuff, don’t get overwhelmed! You can make a bunch of mini plushies $5-10 and then a few larger items. If there’s going to be kids there, they’ll likely have a very low budget.
