Hi! I’ve recently gotten into yarn spinning as my scraps were getting overfilled so I thought “oh. Id just brush them out into floof balls then reuse them for spinning. I wanna try using a drop spindle but don’t wanna spend £14 on one, can anyone help me DIY one so ik ill enjoy it?

I’ve seen diy drop spindles made using all sorts of different materials.

Found one that uses a pencil, lid and tape. Perfect for me

Do you have access to the following:
- cardboard or a plastic jar lid
- a pencil with an eraser end
- a cup hook or paperclip
- elastic bands
