Hiii! Crocheter here, I recently got a knitting kit by accident because I thought it was a crochet kit, and now I’m here watching beginner tutorials on YouTube. I’m struggling, and was looking for any tips that any knitters may have! Please send help and prayers!
Are you left handed or right handed?
I’m right handed
I haven’t actually! I’ll check it out.
Ok let me know if it helps. Also feel free to message me if you need any more help
Okay tysm!!!
I recently started knitting too! My trick was slowing down a yt video so I could watch the stitches done in slow-mo ![]()
Lol, I’ll try that too!
There are multiple ways to hold your yarn when you knit and one of the ways that is easier to learn when you know how to crochet is continental style. Knitting on circular needles is also easier to maneuver because it feels like holding a crochet hook
Share that video if you could? I know how to cast on so far.
Ooo, thank you.
I think when you knit it don’t matter what hand you use
I think it does because there are many different knitting styles from english (right handed) to continental (left handed) etc
https://youtu.be/SpfLTb56fMc?si=ob0aDIbR7e_1GUyv I started with a scarf tutorial, but this is the same person and probably better to start with. Looks like shes been shared above too so must be good!
Thanks sweetie.
