New room! And news

Hi everyone! I have some news! As you maybe saw by the title. We have decided to switch my room to upstairs. As I have been half living upstairs half living downstairs, we decided that it would just work better to switch completely. I have some good news and some bad news..

Bad news: while we have been cleaning out my now old room we have found mold. It has covered a lot of things including my bean bag, plushies, bags, and some clothing. Luckily, it hasn’t gotten on any of my crochet stuff thank goodness

So now we have to bleach a lot of things like the walls and my dresser. The thing that’s very upsetting is because mold is super hard and almost impossible to get out of soft things, I have to throw a lot of my things away.

Good news: since I am moving rooms, my mom has decided to replace a lot of my things and also give me a whole new bedroom makeover! I have decided I want my room theme to be fairy/gardencore.

The reason I have decided to post on here is because I was wondering if anyone had any whimsical crochet or bedroom ideas to spice up my new room! Thank you for reading this VERY long post and have a good day/night!

YOU DON’T! You can use IPA (Isopropyl alcohol) to clean mold

“I’m so sorry about the mold, but I’m glad your crochet stuff is safe! :sob: For your new fairy/garden room, maybe you could crochet a cute mushroom pillow, a floral wall hanging garland, or some delicate fairy lights cover? Good luck with your room makeover! :two_hearts:”

Oh my gosh I want a Fairycore room so bad!

Some ideas are a lot of fairy lights, like that needs to be the primary light source! And have hanging vine curtain that you walk through when you open the door!

Flower garlands and mushroom lamps are also good too!

I think a cute little corner like this one would be so pretty! You could have a tent or something to crochet in and some vines and fairy lights.

You could also add some desk decor, like these!
