Picked up crocheting a month or so ago and im having so much fun. I can see myself improving and find it so relaxing. Ive found my favorite yarns so far -plush and chunky- but i find acrylic yarn still daunting, it shows every single mistake!! Yet the projects with acrylic look so net and beautiful, my mission is to create more using said yarn. I’ve also found myself gravitating towards large projects, I have my handy 20lbs of polyfil near by!! 
Any tips and tricks for newbies to the hobby would be greatly appreciated! I would like to be picked to become a tester someday - any advise on how to increase my chances of being selected?
