Slip stitches hurt my hands :sob:

It hurts my hands, too, sometimes. I would take nice and slow in stead of crocheting slip stitches fast .

I know what you mean lol I saw this simple and easy trick to try for next time I need to work into a slip stitch, I haven’t tried it yet, if you still need to do more maybe you can see of it works and let me know lol

What I do is pull the loop a bit longer before inserting the hook to make them looser! That way, less pressure.

I know that when I pause like that, it makes them even tighter because of dysgraphia, it makes me tense up when the movement isn’f fluid!

Ouch :persevere: for me if I make slip stitches in a fluid motion I don’t create enough space, I put my hook in and don’t lift just going straight into the active loop, I do what you mentioned earlier and tug, although it doesn’t give the desired look on the finished project think a weirdly shaped ball instead of a pumpkin using slip stitchs to make the ridges lol
