I have so many “The Projects”. I guess my first one is an isopod tapestry a teacher commissioned me to make for her son. She asked me if I could make him an isopod after I gave her a cat I made as a thank you for helping my daughter and being such a great 2nd grade teacher. I offered her several items (patterns I found) including plushies and a gorgeous tapestry blanket. I secretly wanted her to choose the blanket. She did. And she has left it to me as to the best way and colors to make it with. I started it, all wide single crochet, then learned that hdc can hide the yarn just as nicely and works up quicker. So i cut my yarn, and started over. I’ve done about 15 rows and it got pushed to the side for a Project with a firmer due date. I’m almost done with that project and am itching to get back to the isopod.

This is what i had done before I started over. I added rows. To the beginning and extra stitches on the sides to make it more of a blanket size.

I have transferred the pdf file to my personal patterns here to make it easier to follow. So I should hopefully be able to get back to it in the next couple of weeks.
