Shred old cloths. Like into tiny pieces. Makes good stuffing.

I primarily do blankets. It’s almost time to start making socks and slippers though 
Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean it won’t get cold again eventually lol

Old pillows work, too. And when my sister had to throw away her old beat up recliner that her 5 kids pretty much destroyed, we ended up being able to get 10 lbs of fluff out of the arms, back, and seat.

Oooh!!! I have one!
It’s just a simple single crochet sock with an add-on heel and toe and it works up super quick, especially with worsted yarn. Heck, it’s even pretty fast with sock weight
I can’t find the original pattern I first found in 08, but this is pretty close to exactly the same technique

It’s a great sock pattern… I’m sad that it’s a paid one and not just available for free use. Lemme check and see if I can find the one that was like that but free.
I’ve been on his website before and I could have sworn that it was a free pattern! I wonder if he had to make it paid to buy groceries or whatever…
Heck… I might have to make one myself if I can’t find the original super easy one

And it’s crocheted in the round. I make them free-style for me and the family every year, so it shouldn’t be too hard to translate that into a pattern/recipe…

Of course!!! I’ve got it named and basic-info’d in my patterns right now. I have 2 1/3 patterns to finish testing (and I can get those done tonight) and then I’ll get to the socks
