Pattern gifting question

Hey all,
Got a little question, if anyone knows the answer.
Do you need to have a ribblr account to gift someone a pattern or can you checkout as a guest and gift a pattern to an existing account without having an account yourself?

From a previous thread, it appears both the sender and the recipient must have a ribblr account.

You can gift others without having an account! You just need the recipient to have an account. You can either enter their username, email or if they shared their wishlist with you then you can gift them this way.

No problem! It wasn’t always like this, but has been for over a year now
It’s great because you can share your wishlist with friends & family and they can simply gift you with just 2 clicks

Thanks so much
I’d been scared to ask for ribblr patterns for my bday but knowing this has eased my worry

Just send them a link to your wishlist! And maybe add a few bundles to your wishlist first
